BIG SUR 2023

The Ubben Vacation Home featured in BIG SUR 2003, as well as two additional guest units, were lost in the Sobrantes Fire. Last year we put the finishing touches on three new concrete and steel replacement buildings: The Meeting House, Sunrise Lodge and Sunset Lodge designed by the original architect Robert Poeschl poeschlarchitecture.com. Currently Marie Goulet and Wild Land Workshop wildlandworkshop.com are completing her landscape design, using native plants and fire resistant methodology.
